Norton Winners! Adventurers Cry Fowl
Kitten Kongratulates Artistes
The Order of Norton, a storytelling group led by Valorn's sweetest guttersnipe: Lady Jimmy Kitten, held its award ceremony to announce the winners of its artistic, literary, and musical competition.
With the patronage of Lavender Pikame, Cerberus, Micaya, Purazon, and even an endowment from the High King, Jimmy Kitten was recently able to offer a little 'encouragement' to get the more shy artistes up in front of the crowd. Entries raged from emotionally charged tales to whimiscal sketches and the occasional minstrel's tune.
The glass walls of the tavern shimmered with the gods' blessings as lesser honours went to Christopher, Esthala Shadowwolf, and Cerberus. Whilst Danin Stone's tale of darkness and temptation took second place. The big winner of the day was Danica Angelus's Different Wings, a masterful drawing of a young dragon.
The Shrouded Sun wishes to remind all our readers that the Order continues to offer a place for Valornians to showcase their storytelling skills every Wednesday, 4:30 pm EST at the Tavern of Glass. Weekly meetings allow those blessed with talent to come and show off, while those of less obvious talents sit back and enjoy.

Foul Fowl
Milltown is generally regarded as a pristine respite from the wilds; however a broad swath of red that trails from the west brings realization the picturesque scene is not as peaceful as it may seem.
A trip in that direction reveals the fearsome spectacle of poultry slashing, feathers flying, demons sneezing, and nose less adventurers streaming blood. Known best as the Poultry Farm, this frenzied scene has proven a rich source of experience, platinum, feathers, and fun.
On busy days, one wonders if more chaos is caused by the headless birds or the adventurers whom proceed to run about in similar headless chicken fashion. Meanwhile, the liberation of feathers and a brisk wind spreads billowing mounds of plumage over Valorn, awakening demon allergies and arousing their ire.
Shuddered at when fresh, the red of blood becomes a rosy glow in hindsight. Many a high level's journal, written over a feast of turkey leg, speaks lovingly of the farm where as a small one they learned to pluck duck, lose face, and slide home on a trail of blood to heal before setting back out to play, again.

Jebz Little Shop of Pottery
More then a few adventurers woke up this morning to face raw eggs at Cerbie's Grill. Clearly flustered, Wil the Grillkeeper has resorted to cooking in Giant Sea Turtle Shells after the disappearance of his pots and pans.
Meanwhile, shady entrepreneur Jebz has been advertising: "hunks of metal which protect your face! What a marvel!" at his new shop in the Plains' Hut outside Dundee. Constables insist the simultaneous appearance of fashionable visors has nothing to do with the missing cookware.
Regardless of what happened with the pots, this reporter is deeply grateful for the new stirfry-scented face protection. Just this week a Soul Leach clawed her face and instead of having to grow back an eye, she only need do so the brow.

Ask Balthazar
Dear Balthazar,
Why can't you be a friendly neighborhood demonman?

Dear Worthless Cog of Valorn,
I'm pretty sure a big, black, menacing Demon Lord walking around preaching good manners and love would dampen my reputation, and all the other demons wouldn't let me play in any of their demon games.
